Healthy waterways by
- reducing pollutants entering streams
- Reduce flooding

- no sewage smells in parks and walkways,

- community understand when water unsafe, good practice and what targeted rate being spent on.
Orakei Local Board support requested
Pests and Plants
- Continue to fund and audit pest control in local parks (protect our investment and SEA) and support Natural Environment Targeted Rate
- Fund more pest plant (tree) removal in SEA buffer and planting of natives including Hapua Reserve
Water
- Fund an independent water and sediment quality report on health of the Bay
- Direct Watercare and Healthy Waters to plan and deliver the restoration of the Bay
- Legally test Watercare’s performance with respect to BPO condition of their discharge consent
